Department service is the division of a business that provides different kinds of services to the customer. Some important department services are lottery, gas, money order, gift card, check cash, vendor payout, house charge, cashback, Lottery payout, and payout, etc.

The User cannot create or delete any services. The user can only update these services.

Please follow the below steps to enable or disable department services:-

1. Open Rapid RMS application.
2. Select the inventory management module from the dashboard.
3. Enter your quick access password.
   
   
4. Click on the three-line button from the top left side corner of the screen.
5. Select the Department option from the left side menu.
6. Select Services tab appears beside the department tab.
7. The list of all default services will appear in the services tab.
   
   
8. You can enable or disable all services by clicking on the toggle button available next to the record.
9. For Example:- If you want to use lottery services, click on the toggle button next to Lottery services to enable lottery services. When you click on the toggle button, it will appear in black.
10. If you want to disable any services, click on the same toggle button to disable any services.
11. Please note that when you enable any service then you can only open that service in edit mode. It is not allowed to delete any services from the department services section.
12. Click on services to open in edit mode.
    
    
    
    

    Field Name	Description
    Department Name	It describes the name of Service. I.e. Lottery could be the name of service. The service name must be unique.
    Department Code	It describes the Service Code. Service code is used for record-keeping. It can be a numerical value or an alphabet letter. service code is a mandatory field i.e service code could be LTO.
    Profit	It describes the profit of the service. If you have only entered the cost of service, it will define the retail price of service as per entered percentage amount in the profit field automatically.
    EBT	If you want to apply EBT on any service. Please turn on the toggle button to enable EBT.
    Tax Apply IN	It allows the user to apply tax on Price, Fee, and Both. Please turn on the toggle button to select any of the options from the drop-down.
    Department Tax	It allows the user to select tax from tax master. Please turn on the toggle button to select tax.
    Fee/Deposit	It allows the user to select Fee/Deposit from the Fee/Deposit master. Please turn on the toggle button to select Fee/Deposit.
    Image	If you would like to distinguish Sub Department by images, you can select the image thumbnail on the right side to add an image that corresponds to the Sub-department. There are three options available to select an image. 1. Take a Photo 2. Choose existing 3. Internet If you want to remove the photo please select the Remove Image option.

    
    
    
13. Change the necessary details you want to update.
14. Tap on the Save button.
15. If you do not want to save any changes, click on the close button.
